The House of Ruth provides safe housing to women and children who are victimized by domestic violence.

The House of Ruth is a safe domestic violence shelter in a home-like atmosphere that is complete with a kitchen, dining room, 5 bedrooms, family room, play room, laundry facility, a fenced-in backyard with a play set for the children and patio furniture. It provides safe housing for women and children who are victimized by domestic violence. While at the shelter, women receive brief individual counseling as well as support from staff and peer support groups.

The shelter provides numerous services and resources such as transportation, groceries, clothing, hygiene products, necessary household tools, and case management. There is no cost for services to residents during their shelter stay.
